Event Actions

Event actions allow definition of events (with defined properties) that players would need to have sent at least once during the selected period to be included in the engagement calculation.

This can be used to select a segment of players to observe their engagement behavior.

For example in the screenshot above, only users that have completed World 1 > Level 10, will be included in the retention calculation.

In the image above only players that have sent at least one Session Start event having build = 1.7.0 in the selected period will be analyzed. During the period the players could have upgraded to 1.7.0 or they could have upgraded to a higher version, but they sent at least one Session Start with 1.7.0.

In the image above we added a requirement that players also would need to have played on Stage-10 (a progression event) in addition to the build event action.

Event types available

At the moment it is possible to select the following event types as conditions:

  • Session start
  • Session end
  • Progression events (levels)
  • Business events (in app purchases)
  • Resource events (virtual currency)
  • Design events (custom)
